About Me.

After struggling with my own postpartum issues, I started on a quest for answers and healing. During this journey, I came across the Newborn Mothers Collective, where Julia Jones enlightened me on the care and needs of a mother in postpartum. Enthralled by her knowledge of Babybrain and the neurology of a mother's brain post-birth, I knew I had found my calling. As my passion grew, I had the opportunity to meet Maranda Bower, founder and CEO of the postpartum university. My educational background in food science combined perfectly with Maranda's teachings about the specific nutritional needs of a mother for her healing and depleted body post-birth. Eager to deepen my knowledge, I trained with Maranda to become a postpartum nutrition coach and continue to enhance my expertise through courses at the postpartum university. My goal is to provide non-medical, physical, and emotional support to help with your emotional and physical recovery. I will share nutritional knowledge and sleep support to rebalance your hormones, aiming to prevent possible Perinatal Mood Disorders (PMADs). I am here to hold space for you as your support person, confidant, cheerleader, friend, and fellow mum. Every mother's journey is unique, and I offer tailored assistance to help you reach your own parenting goals and step into motherhood with confidence. In addition to my postpartum doula and nutrition coaching services, I offer batch cooking and postpartum-friendly snacks. You can also benefit from belly-binding, vaginal steaming, and massage, inspired by postpartum care practices in various cultures. I firmly believe that a mother's care and nurturing in the initial weeks post-birth are paramount to her successful healing journey, allowing her to embrace motherhood with the joy and serenity intended for her. In today's world, we often lack the traditional support of the village like our grandmothers had. Through my work, I aim to bridge that gap, providing you with the time and space to heal and fall in love with your baby, partner, and other children again. I am passionate about encouraging families to slow down and embrace the sacredness of the 4th trimester. I am humbled to serve mothers during this precious time in their lives because every mother deserves compassionate care, tailored to her unique needs and preferences with a nurturing and non-judgmental approach, empowering you with the knowledge, guidance, and emotional support required to navigate this precious time with confidence. From assisting with newborn care and breastfeeding support to providing a listening ear and a reassuring presence, Iam here to hold space for you and your growing family.
